When You Speak

When you speak
Your lips eclipse
The light in you
When you speak
All I catch
Snarls and growls
When you speak
It’s for show
To you it’s theatrical
When you speak
I can feel
Emptiness in the tone
Because you spoke
You’re alone
Go ahead
Speak now
You have yourself to listen to
Maybe then you’ll realize
It’s time to change
Your attitude

Not bad. Microwave poetry - two minutes, words down - it's done!
Some times the purest poetry comes fast and with little effort.
