Goosebumps

Topic: DarkPoetry

Feel the chills crawl up your spine
Watch the goosebumps start to rise
You never noticed me when I was alive
But you can feel me now, right at your side
I’m still as invisible as I always was
You couldn’t see me before simply because
I was never special, no treat for the eyes
Insecure and always shy
Feel the chills crawl up your spine
Watch the goosebumps start to rise
You never noticed me when I was alive
But you can feel me now, right at your side
Maybe I’m less invisible than I always was
You can feel me now simply because
I can manipulate your surroundings, chill your air
I’ll make you feel my pain, I’ll make you care
Feel the chills crawl up your spine
Watch the goosebumps start to rise
You never noticed me when I was alive
But you can feel me now, right at your side

This is darkeness at it's best, though it's but

a poem i can feel the relentless needling

of vengence knawing at the heart of the

betrayer . . . a splendid web of evil you've

woven here . . .

I would say this poem lived up to every bit of its title. I can feel the chills. Great writing.

Thanks,

Tim
