I live life, wishing you were there,
hoping that one day you, too, would care.
i can't stand to look at you, because i kno you can't be mine,
but maybe, for us, it'll take some time.
I do care, but sometimes, it just has to end,
i can't stand the fact that we're nothing more than friends.
A crush is a crush, but it's so plain to see,
that the girl that's always liked you,
has always been me.
But if life leads you to another path,
and i'm just a memory you left without a trace,
I'll always remember the boy who gave me a reason,
to leave a smile on my face.
