~The Death of Mrs.B~

Contributed by shelby on Thursday, 4th September 2008 @ 08:13:09 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Our hot spot, wild and free, untamed spirit lost to reality but none.
The place she provided us from long rides, comfort and fun, party time.
Created by our own thoughts, movements and freedom.

We came across this spot once more, big plans of late night dancing.
Crossing borders nearer still till the moment with great anticipation destiny realized.
To our surprise where did it go where did she go?

Oh Lord oh no
the death of Mrs B...
The scene is not our scene
just a faint ghost of the place it used to be.

Oh lord on my
could I stop for a second to cry?
Where oh where did Mrs B go?
Her death has struck a chord.

Still a few laughs but the dance floor way to small.
No live band, thinking back to those times.......
Watching faces, listening to singing voices
DJ ok but not the same...... as Good ol Mrs B......

Note: Reckless if you read this there is nomore dancing at the spot in Portland.
Mrs B bit the dust!

Hugs

Dear friend, you have penned this wonderful poem - reflecting the mood and Mrs.B as person in a very elegant manner.

With love and respect,
FRANCO.

it is sad when we try to revisit places we hold dear and find them not like yesteryears...take heart for somewhere the spirit of Mrs. B exists and I am sure you will be drawn to the place

Hugs
