Her Kiss

I close my eyes and scuttle my breath
Thinking of her with so much eath
When it was last, so long ago
My lips against hers, where the yearns flow
The joining of two, its magic that taunts
Her kiss, my soul, how daily it haunts
Does my kiss frequent her thoughts?
Such a pleasure is heaven’s wrought
I imagine my hands, running through her hair
The smell of her skin, on her shoulders bare
I open my eyes, and have to breathe
The dream is gone, and now I’m bereaved
To have that very kiss today
To any God, I’m willing to pray
To that deity who is willing to grant
I’ll pledge my life, and all of its rant
One kiss of her, is all that I care
A want of desire, as the breathing of air

Another beautiful ode. I want so badly for her
to come back to you; however, you are
creating masterpieces from your yearning.
Very well done.
