You were right as always you see, because it was right to believe in me
You were right as always you know, exclusively right and for that I owe
If I were right you wouldn’t be gone, or flitting through some vacuous song
Can I be right as you want me to be, see if your heart will tell you of me
Try as I may and may as I might, be able to hold you again one night
Because you’ve always been right about me, I am well worth the wait, this you will see
