Red cherries.

Topic: self-harmpoetry

Let go of me now!
You have no control.
I keep saying to myself.
But the truth is..
My mind BURNS for you.
Thoughts completely
off the shelf.

My heart feels not of breaking,
but of ACHING
SINGING
DYING.
I've pulled the knife too many times,
and NOTHING comes from my trying.

Maybe if I slash it fast.
Pull back
press down and...
BANG.
Then I could fly,
above the sky,
where sadness is astrange.

Without a worry
or a care of
Who said what? TO WHOM?
If only I had courage
to carry out my doom.

For who would care
If I was gone?
My body cold and clear?
It'd be as if a pin hit ground
if I just dissapeard.

A burden is what I am now
Just wasted money spent.
And when I leave
my memory
will be a rusted dent.

God give me strength
to swallow hard
to stab
to burn
to bury.
To pull it tight
to tie the knot
to spill the juice of cherries.

Or if you'd please
do it for me!
Just let me rest for now.
And then to next
to future tense.
KILL ME!!
I don't care how.

then where the hell do i begin, how do

you disect a masterpiece of fevered

emotions, along with stunning inuendos

that beg to be allowed to at least have

the right to be heard if not healed, simply

beautiful Laura . . .

take care . . .

This is an amazing write! I used to cut all of the time, multiple times a day and then I found other ways to cope. I am sorry that life is so hard for you right now, but just know, that there is a way out. If you have any trouble be sure to message me and we can talk. I understand your pain and suffering and want you to know that you are not alone, not at all. Thanks for the work
Julie
