I stand upon a bridge, gazing at the city,
Millions of dreams, looking so willingly.
Willing to fly me away,
From my world, that is gray.
Here I live, in the city of dreams,
The home of happiness, and terrible screams.
Here I live, here I die,
Here I fall, here I fly.
Below me, is the end of the rainbow,
Shining with a heavenly glow.
Bellow me. Are the gates of hell,
Beckoning me to say farewell.
Here I stand, in the city of dreams,
Of hopes, and forgotten screams.
I ask my self, who am I?
To answer this I can only try.
It seems, decades have passed,
I am only an echo of the past.
It seems, I am a lonely scream,
It seems, I have become only a dream.

Unbelievable!! What an enormously beguiling write!
I got so caught up within the words (and am amazed that is was in
a different language --translated here). This is deeply, DEEPLY moving.
I couldn't place my finger on a single emotion in this, because I was
bombarded with so many different ones; each one taking me to a height
I've not known.
Exceptional writing, friend. I adore the second stanza! It is brilliant!
