Where is the love when you need it most
Where is being found when everything is lost
What are my options
When clearly you have given me no other choice
Where are you
Can you hear my voice
Where is the love when the heartache presides
Where is the passion
Where does it hide
Where is the kiss
As my desperate lips await your insides
Where did you go
Why did you leave me alone to decide
Where is the love you promised would never die
How do I stop these tears from falling from my eyes
Have we wasted these years
Precious time in our lives
Where is the elusive moment of clarity
When everything becomes bright

What an intriguing question. "Where is the love when you need it most?". Usually we store it in our refrigerator and rarely we run out. Except when we need it the most. Last night we needed love the most and wouldn't you just know it...somebody ate all the love we had in the refrigerator without letting us know to pick some up at the market. Now that is aggravating!
As we sit in our robes at our desks we are perplexed with your powerful poem of questions, and other questions. We completely identify. Identify? Yes, as we shake our heads in unison we completely identify with this. And that is a lot of identity for we are many.
More than anything in poetry we find that asking questions are more important than giving answers. Take for example the other day one of the Ghost Alarms was dancing naked alone. Firstly he broke the first rule of Ghost Alarm Commandments. "We shall not act as individuals on our own accord." The result of this crime (or punishment as so many call it) is banishment from the group. Yet the most disturbing thing about this act was not the act of individual expression, it was the fact that one of us was dancing naked by himself. We ask in unison the questions "Why are we doing this?" Which was strange because at the moment the naked Ghost Alarm was still a Ghost Alarm so he in unison with us asked "Why are we doing this?" Which confused the group causing us and him to answer in unison "What are we talking about?" Then we replied "Dancing naked alone?" To which we replied "We are not dancing naked alone." Anyway, needless to say this went on and on and the particular Ghost Alarm was allowed to stay due to technicalities. We forgot to banish him before we asked questions. Therefore he got away with his crime. Which leads us to our point.
In order to find the truth to questions sometimes we must disassociate ourselves from the one who has caused us painful inquiry. As long as we are associated all the questions are bounced back to ourselves.
We applaud your work and hope that this pain and suffering subsides. We are but a strange dark cave filled with spiders, bats, and a skeletal man with a carriage known as "Skeletal Jim" and his partner "Skeletal Jack" away.
May a former Ghost Alarm be found naked in your shower in the morning wearing his mother's wig and holding a knife with loud dramatic music in the background.

jyss, this is just such a simple thought from you! I am so used
to your elaborately wordy and emotional writes, that this one
kinda snuck up on me. It is so delicate and soft even in its melancholy.
(Actually, I think because of its melancholy).
Damn fine job with the desperate feeling of "how do I live, now
that you're gone?". I can both feel and appreciate the vulnerableness
of this piece. Well done, poet!

This was hard to read. It is devoid of hope, and full of loss. I feel like I have lived this poem. Very emotive, it left a lump in my throat.
