The Sound of Feelings

The silent pain of the tormented heart
tasted a fallen tear from an angel.
The deepest thought unrehearsed
as a lesser man prayed to God
somewhere in the enfolding darkness.
Drifting aimlessly on a wandering road,
waking up to stark reality with no escape.
Lost in a world of perpetual war
while the beast is confined in a cage.
Entering hell, the tale of a knight is just passing by
as the sound of feelings echo a mournful cry.
