Diseased Reflections

Cut the line cos I'm suffocating,
cannot feel within I'm aching.
All the desires are lost and my heart is racing.
I feel cursed am I mistaken,
deemed to walk the path that's chosen.
Regret is a mountain I've yet to climb,
I believe that pain will ease in time,
I'm trapped inside this self addiction
forced to see my own affliction.
Through my eyes I see deceased reflections.
A second chance at resurrection.
All the words I've ever spoken,
and the spells I've cast seem broken.
cards are down and a choice needs making,
look at the past or keep on dreaming.
I've pulled the plug for now I'm loosing,
closed the chapter cos I know I'm dying.

| It seems that The poet has said about his life in this poem in a very very fine way. We can read in between the lines and know what the poet has gone through in his life. A very touchy poem. Keep it up. Well written. Ivy |
