Can't you see that I'm forsaken
Left all alone until my life is taken
My home is this black burning abyss
I've never had anything else, what could I miss
Many times I have wondered but never asked why
Many times I have searched but never asked where
Many times I have longed but never asked who
My future's as blank as my past
Nothing has ever seemed to last
I continue to look in constant torture
Yet I have no idea what I search for
Now I yearn for the answers to my questions
To know what I truly lack
But now I've found something that could bring me back
To the surface where my dreams live
The climb is steep with no reward in sight
My hands burn bloody continuing the endless plight
My head is hit by beautiful disaster
The sun's burning bright
I shield my eyes as I smell burning hair
I vomit upon the ground, the beautiful green grass
A new smell erupts along with my skin
My will tells me to leave, but I yearn to stay
With this new life on the surface
I can live a life with purpose
A life without constant pain
A life not in vain
Can't you see that I'm forsaken
Left all alone until my life is taken
My home used to be a black abyss
Now i've found a place filled with bliss
