In the silence of the night
When darkness surrounds
And the quietness is almost too loud to bear
I found the words in my heart
Words I no longer thought was there
Promises I no longer remember
Secrets that are no longer hidden
How those words eluded me
And how hard I tried searching for them
When it was just there all this time
Discovering those words again
Feels like I have found my voice once more
The voice telling to you and me
That we do have a place in this world
I am not alone in this quest
In finding oneself
And knowing oneself better

i like this a lot. i understand where ur coming from. there have been so many times when i personally couldn't remember who i was anymore. its like all of a sudden i changed and i didn't even realize it. and then i'll look back at things i've written in the past and be like "oh yeah, thats who i was. that's the real me right there." and "how do i go back to that"
anyway. i liked this alot. got goosebumps on my right arm. :o)
