most of the time
they argue.
but when they laugh
jealousy creeps into
the hearts of those
that surround them.
she looks at him
as though he hung the moon.
he looks at her
and she melts into the woman
she was always meant to be.
each one knows what it takes
to annoy the other.
but OH...
when he took her into
his arms and swayed
with her to the sound
of a bluesy country song...
the world stopped turning,
the waves of the ocean
were stilled,
hearts quit beating,
birds stopped singing,
happiness and sadness
on the faces around them were
frozen,
because at that moment
nothing mattered more to either
than being there in each other's arms
and staring into the eyes
of the other half of their own
soul.
no anger,
no laughs,
just love.

This poem is much more beautiful than the title suggests it will be, lol. Nicely done.
