Topic: Lifepoems

When breath did not exist..
the soul a fleeting thing,
emptied the room.

To that very moment..
most thought a hollow man...

I leaned in..
touched His hand...
He knew love more than all the lovers.

Protecting love..
nourishing love with acts,
waiting its birth...

Breath was taken in,
and released with that thought..
tears when lost
flooding when witnessed.
to the last minute..believed in its return.

Hollow most said..but...

He knew love...Vincent

Oh Lane, this was absolutely magnificent!! I have fallen so deeply
into every line ... every word. This is just the kind of thing I'd
expect from a heart such as yours. Too beautiful, my friend.

I'm with Shari. The last line is just damn moving!

Love that you are posting more these days. ;)
