Cherry Blossom Blessings

A crisp wind blows down from the North,
Carrying the sounds of birds crying their beautiful choir,
And though the wind is chill, the grass beneath my flesh is warm with life.
The cherry blossoms drift downwards like angel feathers,
Resting from their graceful flight upon our bodies.
You turn to me and whisper; your breath of alluring spices,
“I’ll love you for eternity…”
And as the words escape your lips, I softly close my eyes,
And I become lost within your touch, floating with the cherry blossom’s blessings.
