|
It all swarms rapidly,
life that feels dead.
Spilling through cracks,
in my battered head.
Beat by the sound,
of the pulse of your heart.
Blinded by the words,
that make the light, dark.
Flying past memories,
too fast to absorb.
The scent of the flowers,
the songs of the birds.
It all swarms rapidly,
crude and unkind.
Life that's a fantasy,
life in my mind.

This slipped by me yesterday. This is another sad write that manages to show your strength, in my opinion. Many can take their own bits and pieces of this poem and relate, and I've taken my own. Well written, again.
