just like orange
you are two things in one
brilliantly bright,
and sweet on the toung
addicted to your flavor
and captured by your glow
reasons i'm having trouble
with letting you go
your confidence and strength
bring me to my knees
release me from my prison
like a calming cool breeze
you must scream out the words
your eyes show to be true
dica appena come dico(just say as i say)
i'll never love you
i want to be with you
of this, i am sure
i try to kneel
but i'm passing through earth
our situation is hard for me
and you know this too well
the ground should stop me soon
but i'm falling straight to my hell
where i will wait for the words
to flow from your lips
for a seace fire command
to your ten thousand ships
of confidence and strength
bringing me to my knees
release me from my prison
like a calming cool breeze
you must scream out the words
your eyes show to be true
dica appena come dico(just say as i say)
i'll never love you
at this point in my life
i can't fulfill your needs
i know now what torment means
the frustration building
that makes you want to scream
makes you want to cry
makes you want to bleed
all at one time
relieving the pain
heart breaking objective
forgetting your name

Omigosh! This was so well done. I was deeply affected and left
in wonderment. The title is brilliant and by that I mean, SO
completely brilliant! This is indeed tormented. I really felt the
anguish and bitter torture that lingers while you beg and plead for
release. It is a bittersweetness that is too beautiful and painful to bear.
THAT is what it means to be tormented.
Well done poet. An enormously provocative and intriguing write!
Your word choices were exquisite!
