I will turn them into a myth
All these shards that float around
These failings and little joys
This bliss covering a great despair
This hurricane drawing us
Fear is its tail
To beat its hold is the greatest
Of all the heroic tales
We the lot who has no tongue
Trapped in plastic bags
Bend and torn in desire’s way
Excel in sour tastes
These days of false pretense
Painted faces for love and care
Our colors to hide ourselves
Show a greater truth as well
I will turn them into a myth
All the tales worth not to tell
To bestow a greatness
To lives wasted and stale

I really enjoyed this. There seems to be an undercurrent of anger, or disgust; yet there is a feeling of resolve and triumph in the end. Nice write.
