Meet you with
The intention
Of meeting on
An equal ground
Of singing a
Familiar song
And ending up with
The impression
That all is for nothing
Despite best efforts
And honest attempts
It's just abstaining
And I can only laugh
When you say
That you want to die
And I can only laugh
When you say
You've found salvation
In the sky
I don't want to fight
I don't want to cry
I just want to sit here
And feel this Weightlight
When all the words
Really, they mean nothing
And we carry on as if
They are carrying our points
Like caskets that are
Just shy of the dirt
They can never carry the hurt
Or the honesty, or
the love
That we want them to
They are poor
Representations
That have no life
In this degradation
Of communication
That we built on the hill
On the back of
These complications
And I can only laugh
When I think
That I want to die
And I can only laugh
When I think I've
Found salvation
In one of your skies
I don't want to fight
I don't want to cry
I just want to sit here
And feel this Weightlight.
