So Life Goes On

Contributed by Mick_Puttock on Thursday, 14th August 2008 @ 08:28:28 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Ignored, deadly quiet, with no reply
Is there something now wrong with I

Night off, so I'm at home, and she goes out
Had a shower, its not the smell, now I have my doubts

Gets up, she goes to work, no good morning....no goodbye
And so is this why? home is as lonely, as the empty sky

She gets home, I'm off to work, my goodbyes met with silence
What goes on, I wonder why, I need a degree in emotional science

Did I do you wrong, what have I done, nothing said, just none
You wont talk, so nothing can be fixed, and I am just one

It will end, I guess real soon, and you'll have flown
No more here, just me again, down and alone

But life goes on, or so they say
To yet another long lonely day.

Well, my dear, dear, Webmaster,
It might be silent there but your pen is making mucho noise.
I'm alone but not lonly. Because when I found this site I found a purpose much greater than mine.
Now you know how we feel when we don't hear from you.
You still got all of us and we may be cantanerous at times but I think we all luv you.
If I hadn't found this spot my life would be very lonely too.
You've given my heart a home.
You give me a reason to keep on keepin on.
I'm so gratefull to be here and all that you do for us all.
Big huggs, smiles, much luv,
emy
