i thought you were the one

you said you'd always love....what a lie
you said you'd always be here for me....but your not
you said you'd would never leave me....you did
you said i'm the only one you'll ever want....but you want her
you promised me that you would never lie to me....but you did
you promised me the world....all i got now is hell

you told me so many lies
made so many false promises
why did i ever believe you
why did i not see straight through you lies
maybe love was blindening me

you lifted me up so high and set my spirit free
and then you drop me down and broke my heart and spirit
i hate you for it but some how i still love you
i want to stop this pain
but i don't know how
its to strong, to real
i want to forget you even exist but its hard when i see you every day

i feel this poem its really close to home.
