Forever

Contributed by Anonymous44 on Sunday, 10th August 2008 @ 02:04:56 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

To the rest of the world
We are just good friends
Friends that care about each other
And would die for one another
But don’t you still think
That there could be more

Take a walk down a familiar a path
And meet me halfway
Lay on our backs and watch the clouds
And make it so every shape
Somehow relates to us

Just spending one minute with you
Could make a memory to lighten my life forever
Sometimes I just lay in bed
And think about you
Your beautiful smile
The cute way you laugh
And I say to myself
I am the luckiest guy in the world
To even know you

And I know there is a chance I will never get you back
But I still hope and I still wish
I wish on every shouting star
That passes through our atmosphere
And I hope that one day all my wishes will come true
But I have one more thing to say to you my dear
I will always love you

This was bitterly awesome... and you captured what love really is. You are thankful to even know the person and have them in your life even if they aren't at the moment "yours". This just is unbelievably simple and complex at the same time and I enjoyed the poem from start to finish.. thanks for posting, you got talent so keep on writin and posting, and I will keep on reading:)
