Changes

Contributed by karoody on Monday, 17th March 2003 @ 10:25:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Does anyone remember when...

Being polite was a habit practiced often,

No one cared which side of town their playmates were from,

We didn't argue about each other's beliefs,

The corner shop could still give out credit,

Violence was a rarity,

Or when community participation was 'in style?'

Was this world a mere dream?

Will it ever be seen by this generation?

o how true and unanswerable you statement and question are... heres a song i wrote for my friends punk band some strong language is used, i don't usually write like that anymore

Cruel World

Chorus
This world's so cruel
Everyone's being such a *****
No one respects anyone anymore
No more please
No more thank you
What happened to the good old days

Walking down the street
You see filth you see trash
Why can't people just clean up after their ass
Everyone's turning into a slob
Just take a look around
You see kids doing the unimaginable
Having sex
Smoking this smoking that
Who taught them this
Where'd they learn all this *****
God damn can't you raise your kids
The right way

Chorus

Why do people hate each other
Can't you all live in peace
Stop the fighting stop the killing
Throw away the guns and knives
And lets just play nice with each other
Since life's so short
Why bicker and babble
Over some stupid affair
Can't you people just behave yourself
And live your life
With each other
In Peace

Chorus
