Lost, walled from brilliance,
Trying to discover the Blues, an effort
To grasp at tentacles or stalactites or whatever
Hangs.
Eventually, everyone burns.
Tall ravishing echoic matter melting
Signs at their feet, stuck
Making the best of insignificance.
Well I’ll tell you,
The beginning and end are easy
But what the hell
Do we do in the middle?
