Late Night

Contributed by shelby on Friday, 8th August 2008 @ 05:11:54 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I love the cast of this Neon Glow,
transformation by day by night.
The city a ugly sight until the call of dark.

It stirs a romance about it.
Casting a dazzle in these tired eyes.
The trucks motor purring softly
half awake sippin coffee at the truck stop.

And the lights turned down low in the sleeper
and my thoughts strewn allover the place.
My eyes drifting off to the distance
and my heart stirs with the Neon Glows haze....

VIVA LAS VEGAS BABY!

Although I have never been to Las Vegas the more that you tell me about it the more I feel like I have. I have to agree yet again that you paint a beautiful picture. You are excellent with words and your imagery is amazing....see you at your next stop......have a safe trip.....say hi to Texas for me....I miss ya.

Indeed, Shel, cities and townships are mostly ugly by day. Neon lights at night is makeup on the drab face of civilisation. Play the pokies for me will ya, and send me the winnings check when you can.
