Darkness of Sorrow

Contributed by LoveStruck_Hippie on Friday, 8th August 2008 @ 02:09:15 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I am the nothing in nothingness
Alone in the void that no one sees
Trapped in the darkness of sorrow
That everyone, yet no one understands

Many share the sorrow
Each of us share the grief
But alone in the darkness I sit
Begging for relief

Surrounded by my loved ones
Yet feeling all alone
Lacerated and bleeding
Silenced cries yet unknown

Outstretched hand un-noticed
I stand here all alone
Praying in this moment
That you will take me home

Please heal me from the pain
As I watch a dear one depart
Give me strength and presence
Overcoming weakness of the heart

It is now my family needs me
And the power that I hold
Embraced in motherly kindness
Their pain I will enfold

~Peace~

Hun, I feel your pain here. I truly do. I know that there is a LOT going
on with you at the moment and this is just a part of the whole. It grieves
me to know how much you've been enduring.

This is so emotional. And painfully beautiful. I think the picture is perfect.
Your pain is evident and your heart is immense. Tremendous work
here hun. A glorious work of art as tribute to the love you still and always
will feel, for beautiful Dakota.

Amazing post. *hugs you tight*

~ Breezy

Immensly emotional!
The expression of pain is overwelming.
I am saddened that you must endure it, yet I praise this work.

Shannon,

heartfelt sadness enclosed in these lines, but also the courage to endure personal pain to relieve that of others - a noble subject in the ingnominity of human behaviour.
