I’m sorry I gave in,
Sorry you gave up,
Sorry it ever started.
Sorry we messed it all up
Sorry we couldn’t just be friends.
Oneday.. I used to say to you.
Sorry, but we never got that far.
Sorry I looked your way,
Sorry you looked mine.
Sorry can me apologies but not this time.
It’s a condescending condition.
Not pathetic, almost regretful.
Cause you know sorry, takes back nothing.
More of, it’s a too bad for you, to bad for me,
Kind of thing.
No pity for me, just sorry for you.
Your desolate, I’m wretched.
You used to say it to me, sorry.
I never knew what it meant when you said it.
I’m saying it now to tell you that this time
I’m sorry.
Sorry can me apologies but not this time.
