As if you needed
An excuse to
Express yourself
The remnants of
The things you learned
On your way up
After you decided
To tear it all down
And rebuild again
On the ashes of
The lessons learned
And dogmas shunned
Little soldiers commanded
to hold you down
Excuses are weakness
Fears manifest
So blast your signal
And forget the rest
Someone told me
That we were at war
I told them it was
War all the time

I like the form of this write
and I am not familiar with your
other writes but this feels a bit plain.
the whole thing leads to a statement that
i've heard a few times too many.
I read this and I couldn't leave without posting a comment because this isn't a bad write. I hope I made sense. I haven't slept so I may be out of it, or not. Who knows. I'll read it again when I've had sleep. this is a pretty long post from what I usually write...
Well keep writing
