We were once someone’s home
in the vast changing ocean.
We moved on and left our marks
lingering upon the crystal white sands.
The tide washing over us each day.
You may take us, collect us and keep us.
With a condition attached to the deal.
Remember the day in which you found us,
remember the moment you played in the sun.
Remember the love you shared, and the laughter.
We had a good life, we survived the peril of the deep.
We escaped predators we made friends.
We said goodbyes, we lived, died, rejoiced and moved on.
So you see life where you live is not much different
than our lives below the surface of the ocean.
So enjoy us, each time you see us remember.
Enjoy the moments you spent
look forward to the day you return.
A life of a shell is everything and more.
Just as your life is everything, and a new adventure yet to come.
Be like the ebb and flow of our home, move and change.

Yet again another beautiful piece. I dont know how you can tell me that you are not good with composition....you could have fooled me here...as well as with every other piece of yours that I have read....this was a very light hearted and peaceful write...BEAUTIFUL
