Edge of Midnight

Contributed by NoSaint on Saturday, 2nd August 2008 @ 11:25:38 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Evermore her sorrow weeps
Unto the edge of night
Wherefore the Babe sleeps
Destined for the light

Pitch black raven sits
Upon it’s thorny perch
Angels sing mornings song
Shining over the earth

Laughter and sorrows
Abundance and plight
Where good and evil meet
On the edge of midnight

wow...very artfully done and full of depth!
I like! If I may, I would change only one word, the last line would say, "On dawn's edge of midnight".....lol, but no offense, thats just me shoving my two cents in. :)
