~Shifting Sands~

Contributed by shelby on Thursday, 31st July 2008 @ 07:38:37 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Seagulls calling out in distances vast,
salt on the wind and gentle fresh mist.
Magical place as far as the eye can see,
making one realize how small we can be.

Warmth of the sand beneath bare feet.
Walking along hand in hand.
Our souls bare, we rest at heart
wishing from this place never to part.

The waves coming closer, water chilled
a soft murmur of the life that lays beneath.
A world unto itself right where we stand
so perfect a portrait, painted by only God's hand.

Beautiful poem and I have to agree that the picture goes along perfectly...It is amazing what God created around us for us to enjoy...so much we take for granted...Once again beautiful poem.
