YOU WERE THE DREAM
I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR,
A GREAT LOVER TO SATISFY
THIS CRAVING OF LUSTFUL DESIRE.
MY IMAGINATION RAN RAPIDLY
ACROSS THE AGES, ACROSS THE SEA,
A LIFE TOGETHER, SUCH HAPPINESS,
ACCEPTING THE FUTURE
NO QUESTIONS I ASKED.
PETALS OF ROSES ALL ABOUT
THE ROOM,
CREATING A FRAGRANCE
OF SWEET PERFUME.
LOVE WAS ALIVE, A BLAZING FLAME,
THIS PASSION BETWEEN YOU AND ME.
LIKE SWEET VERSES OF POETRY,
A LOVE IN PROGRESS,
THE WORDS OF EXPRESSION
GAVE ME THE IMPRESSION,
OF A LIFE TIME TOGETHER;
MY DREAM, MY LOVE, SUCH SORROW
HOW DID I LOSE YOU,
BETWEEN YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW.

Thanks Jenni.....I hurry to this site as soon as I get on the computer.. Every one has been so great about posting good comments. I have only been into this for about 8 months and am rather new to all especially this site.

This line is so so real..
" THE WORDS OF EXPRESSION
GAVE ME THE IMPRESSION,
OF A LIFE TIME TOGETHER "
Isn't it so unforgiving how the same word(s) can mean such different things to two people? Why don't we take the time to understand? Maybe we just hear what we want to hear.
