There is no love anymore
At least not what it was before
The trees are turning green today
All my ambition is turning to grey
Teenage love is just as they say
In the inexperienced unarmed soldier way
Oh, I know what I said
I said I’d never walk away
But lately it’s just taking
So much for me to stay
Oh, but I know what I said
I’m in over my head
Waiting for a sign to show
Something just to let me know
It’s okay to loosen my grasp
So few answers to the questions I ask
Give me hope or give me denial
Give me something before my dreams defile
Oh, I know what I said
I said I’d never walk away
But lately it’s just taking
So much for me to stay
Oh, but I know what I said
I’m in over my head
I said I’d never walk away
It's just too hard to stay.

This is really beautiful. It reminds me of something that I cannot quite put my finger on.
Nice work.
