Where are the angels?
The guardians of innocence
Alone in my tormenting dwells
I lost you and lost my sense
I looked to the air …
With a gesture of farewell
In shattered cloak I’m tied in despair
Twelve strokes have fallen
...Shattering my soul’s shell
My lips are numb to call your name
And my velvet tongue never pleased your ears
On my knees I drawn in shame
Sought for your hand
…To wipe away my tears
Heaven hears nothing as I am wailing
I feel my life sifting through my hand
My flesh is wrecked and my soul sailing
Beat the passion and carve me in sand
How many times have I looked at you?
Savoring my unguarded heart for blood
Would you wipe my brow from the dew?
And kiss me tenderly ...Savage God

Hard to believe no comments on this great write.
"Heaven hears nothing as I am wailing"
This is very well done. It brought out something in me...still trying to define it.
