Loathing and Desire

Contributed by KismetsPoet on Tuesday, 29th July 2008 @ 02:21:03 PM in AEST
Topic: obsession

I stare at you
You're so guarded
Fake
Facinating
How is you mask so sturdy?
When lust may slip through mine
You disgust me
You appall me
You fascinate me
What's inside your head?
Beneath your mask?
Your kinks? Your fetishes?
Your dirty little secrets?
What resides behind your shield?
What fascinates me so?
Discusts me?
Apalls me?
Draws me?
What makes you so fake, yet so real?
So flawed, yet so perfect?
So plain, yet so god damn desirable?
I look at you and despise you
I loathe you
I desire you
You will be mine

creepy but in a good way. this is the type of poem that can give you chills. the only thing i would change is i would stop at the line "I desire you". all in all a great poem.

This is brilliant.
I loved how I almost can imagine every word as a story in my head.
Fantastic.

The title of your poem framed what I feel for someone, and reading it, all I did was connect. I enjoyed reading this; and I agree with the other people--really gives a person colossal chills.

thanks,
HaleysHeresat
