No second chances no second look.
No one ever tries to give back the safety to my heart that they took.
The mind tries to introduce things that will never agree with reality.
Its that thought that everyone tries to seek.
And what lets us know if what’ s in the mind is correct.
When past hurts creates a barrier outside my heart that goes out of its way to fight and protect.
Does anybody stop to see how this will gradually affect me?
How it will slowly rip at my soul piece by piece?
Does anyone stop to ask themselves if a girl like me deserved this second rated treatment?
And why people decide to run at the first sight of commitment?
What’s the point in starting a journey just to go half way?
