The ocean waves of beauty
Reflect all the vanity
Look how far that we’ve come
Is it right or insanity?
Perilous thoughts of such madness
And the way we evolved
The number of nothing is right
By how much that we solved
Is deception surprising?
How we’d love to admit it
The keys were there to take hold
And it’s so sad that we didn’t
Such blindness now witnessed
Same cycles repeating
No action makes change
Not these tears that I’m weeping.
