Where Do I Go From Here

Contributed by Stallion on Saturday, 26th July 2008 @ 04:17:06 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I am at a standstill
What do I do next
I’ve got the skill, the talent
What’s holdin me back
This dream and goal of mine
How do I make it blossom
I don’t know who, I don’t know how
Success at my door knockin
But I’m not there to open
Lost on the other side
Where do I go from here
To go claim what’s mine
Stuck at this one level
What’s the next step
Can it be me, being afraid
Afraid of my own success
I look at other people
Already established and known
Can I measure up, can I do it
Or do I leave it alone
My heart tells me
What you write needs to be heard all around
Stallion what you write is real
Can even be put to sound
My heart said, you can’t give this up
This talent, this skill, this is part of you
So find the direction, dig deep
Cause this you have to pursue
The drive, the will, the commitment
A must
Could that be my next level
Could I be movin up
My path more clearer
No longer misty and bleak
Endless nights, busy days
Success within my reach
It was waiting and waiting
This other part of my life
To become one in one
To complete me inside
Overwhelming, this accomplishment
A lot of emotions in the air
Because I’ve opened the door to my success
But wait
Where do I go from there
