If I were a blond,
My waist a size 2,
Would you love me
As I love you?
If my breasts were D's,
If my eyes were blue,
Would you love me
As lovers do?
If my head was empty,
If my legs were loose,
If I wore crop-tops
And high high-heeled shoes,
Kept my answers simple,
My interests, just you,
Would you love me
And keep me
And never, ever leave me?
And, though I'd hate me,
I know I'd love you.
Just, please, would you love me, too?

Nicely expressed. Still don't know why women suffer over shallow manks (male scanks) and crave their love and acceptance. Go figure. Beauty is only skin deep, but poor self-esteem seems to go right to the bone.

It's up to you to use your own heart...
and not so much your eyes.

I love the simplicity and flow of htis poem. The sincerity in the plead for love. Yes would you love me as I would you. Unfortunately we both know the answer - we have both been there.
A very nice poem.
