Nightmares Again!

Nightmares again!
A scream within my sleep
Wrenching sobs to surface
Shaking breathless quakes
In a pool of glass
Cutting deep inside
Ripping thus a canyon
Spilling out my insides
Laying there beside me
Beside me where I sleep.
Crying ever sobbing
Pain wrenching oh so deep
Down into my cavern
Buried ten miles deep
Feel myself just drowning
Drowning ten miles deep
In this empty cavern
Filled with pains you wreaked.
Nightmares again!
Robbing me my peace
Not of soldiers bleeding
Bloodied by my hand
Not of even falling
Nothing to grasp at hand
Just…
See you in the darkness
Your daughter hand-in-hand
Smiling in the darkness
Laughing as you leave so bold
Leave me raped, abandoned
Discarded and then sold.

Kevin,
A truly bold and brave expression you have here. You have caught my heart and soul in this one for I live in a similar nightmare each and every night. The smile I wear in the daylight is to cover the pain within.
Warmest of love and friendship to you dear poet.
Peace
~Shannon |

Dude,
I am sorry I brought this on for you. If I
had known it would have this effect, I
would never have posted it. Please
read my latest post. I feel so bad
as you are a great friend and I wish
you only happiness and dreams that
carry you through the night.... :( ...Mike |

Kevin,
remember what we were discussing about those damn nightmares??
This just truly rips at my heart, I feel so bad and sad reading this and knowing you are hurting so badly.
I mirror Shannon word for word.........
I wish I could make this go away for you. What can I do to make you smile sweet Kevin........
tosses a tissue a rose
huge hugs and a kiss on the cheek
Love you you are loved do not think otherwise!

after the Wars...thats what I call life, love and loss.
what peril hearts and minds can put us in,
what a spent hollow feeling you leave with the ending here. and then there is the feeling of a snapping dog...me? I like that part" Crow
