Crow

Topic: dedicatedpoems

Walking in the darkness
Smokes his cigarette
Burning in the madness
He’ll come and find you yet.

Hear footsteps wicked echo
Open up the door
Nothing but a shadow
A shadow… nothing more.

Rushing to your window
Just to see a mist
But not a coolness in it
There’s tobacco strung in this.

The pavement speaks his tale
Message in the dark
His wings are but a whisper
Mocking you so stark.

Whips you with his leather
Ties you with his chains
Place you in the graveyard
Spilling out your veins.

But he has a madness
A melancholy glee
To those without an evil
Gifts his laugh to thee.

For Crow – hope you like it.
