I don’t think I belong here
The sensible people don’t make sense to me
I’ve always wondered how understanding things could be
I don’t see the same things everybody else sees
I feel lost when I’m found, and found when I’m lost
I’d love to be among chaos, at any cost
Take my hand
Lead me to Wonderland
I want to get lost down the rabbit hole
Take my hand
Take me to Wonderland
I can’t be me in a world where I can’t seem to see who me really is
Can you see who you are? Is it who you’d like to be?
I fear what I’ll find when I finally see
But maybe it won’t seem so bad in a world where
Everything is topsy-turvy
I don’t think I belong here
Take my hand
Lead me to Wonderland
I want to get lost down the rabbit hole
Take my hand
Take me to Wonderland
Now we can't be late, go as fast as you can!
I wish to be in Wonderland, I wish to lose my head

It does sound like a nice place to be.
This reminds me of something else too just cannot put a finger on it right now.......

as is the whole poem, as was
the tittle, and i read it over and
over realizing i've discovered
another treasure on this site,
deep meaningful, compelling
to the imagination as is the
very style, in which you present
it with . . .

| This is awesome, I loved every line! The last one especially, "...I wish to lose my head." I struggle with knowing who I truly am sometimes, I think a lot of people do, which is why this poem is terrific. |
