A feeling I can’t ignore
When you come running
Through my door
And although you’re quick to leave
This feeling grows inside of me
I don’t know where you are
But you’ve scarred me
Barred me in a prison
Of emotions
Unlike I’ve ever felt
My heart, it races
Paces down the halls
And asks for you
Knocks on all the walls
But you’ve fled
I don’t know where you are
A feeling I can’t ignore
It grows inside of me!
Your shadow is on the wall
Just barely in sight
Your eyes, your unique mask
I need to see one more time
Don’t go
Please…
