She came to me to comfort her
But found a safety instead
A quite place to clear her head
Her eyes seemed so distant
Though she was slowly coming round again
Cold reality was setting in
She would never be yours
I seen the way you look at me
All the hatred in your eyes
The envious glare
But you still seemed so unaware
To you it was nothing more then a game
One you were determined to win
And you would of rather seen her lonely
Then to know she was happy with me
Because to you that meant losing
You just weren't willing to face the truth
And you couldn't stand the sound of silence
So you tried to replace it, With the emptiness
Of two hollow hearts beating in sink
