Fresh Air

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A breath of fresh air
Something new
But what am I
Going to do with you?

Thousands of miles apart
As I fall for you
Tempted to give me your heart
But you're too nervous to...

You're careful not to fall
Too far, too fast for me.
Don't give me it all
Until you are sure that you are ready.

Thinking of you as you think of me
Finally I can be who I really am
No more trying to be
Something someone else sees in me.

Your brown eyes in my dream
Making it seem
As though we're meant to be
There for each other

I don't want to lie anymore
No more being fake
Are you really sure
You think you can wait
Keep in touch
Until the day that fate
Decides we should be together?

I dream of the day
Fantasies of your face
The moment that I may
Finally know your taste

The days go by
With you in my mind.
Picturing what it'd be like
With you at my side.
You in my arms
Your mouth pressed to mine
Tasting your lips
Utterly divine...
