How can you love him?
What he did was wrong and ripped me limb from limb.
But he didn’t just hurt me;
He hurt you just as badly.
Yet you do not care.
I can tell that there are going to be days where you don’t know I’m there.
It’s going to be all about him again,
Just like it was then.
I know I’m going to be misplaced,
And this is why I now look upon you with distaste.
How can you love a monster like him?
He, who sent me to the gym,
Day after day to keep from cutting.
I hope you are listening to this song I sing.
And if you are, know this:
I will not be there for your guys’ first kiss.
I will never be there for you again if it involves him.
