The wind blew cold
Across the prairies
As I huddled into the bulk of my clothing
I walked…
A lone figure
Into the grayness of the day
The miles lay painted in horizontal curves
Of oily blues blending as a muse
Stretched out in the distance
Upon this field of gray stained plaster yellows
Vibrating dully
As the wind colors in whispers
A drone of different hues.
Feel the energy…
Earth into the wind
Wind into the skies
Feeding my loneliness upon it
Realizing…
That there lies nothing between this and silence
More beautiful than your love.
Hands beneath my arms
Holding self embrace
In warmth of your memory
Knowing the horizon holds
No distance for a love of you
Though you be a dream
No horizon holds.
The air paints its redness upon my face
With jealous strokes
Held numbly in a chill
Retrieving salty drops
From voids that never fill.
Love may ever seep
A container much too filled
Spilled into the breeze
A loan I gift to thee
Carried in the wind
To touch upon your cheek.
Feel the warmth
The love that tingles in caress
Searching ever searching
To lay upon your breast
The love lent to the wind
To touch salty on your cheek
Forever in a dream
Knowing the horizon holds
No distance for a love of you
Though you be a dream
No horizon holds.

god my friend this just could have made me tip over in my chair, I am again floored lol, in a good way.
I loved the words and the flow, making me see you standing there in nature with the hues of sky, earth, wind and most of all your heart. Holy! WOW WOW
