Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep my love

As i lay under the starry sky holding you tight against my body
my heart racing wildly.
I turn to look at your face to see you staring at me
I look into your eyes and wonder if you love
me the way i love you?
You kiss my forehead and start to sing
" kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep my love dont leave my side until i die"
As i fall into a deep sleep i repeat the lullaby over and
over.
I wake up to find rain kissing my face and sit up
to find you still holding my hand.
I lay my head on your chest and listen to your heartbeat
when i suddenly start to sing the beautiful lullaby from last night.
As i hold your hand to my heart i sing the song
that only me and you understand.
The sun starts to rise into the starry sky i look
at your sleeping face and kiss
your forehead.
I get up and start to sing as i dissapear quietly into the rising sun
I turn around and whisper
"Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep my love until the next time we meet"
so don't leave my side until i die.
