Immortal Love

Have my heart
Do not ask why there is no blood
For I am telling you now:

I once loved a person so handsome
And every day I would talk to him
Every day I would love him more
I gave him a drop of blood each night
He saw my commitment and was pleased
But when My blood ran short
He realized that I was doomed
And so he left to dig my grave
I swore to him that I was fine
But he… he kept digging
And in the end he jumped inside the hole
To make sure it was deep enough
And in fear I grabbed the shovel and
Began to cover the hole
My weak arms pulled all the strength out of me
But in an hour he was beneath the earth and
I above.
I felt so wretched that I had killed my lover
And so I pulled out my heart and squeezed the blood out
Onto his grave.
Two minutes had not passed before I fainted
And when I awoke I felt refreshed.

Twenty years of my life and
Twenty times my heart has drained
Today I will rid myself of my heart and
maybe then this cycle will end
Please keep my heart…
Oh but wait!
A drop of blood has leaked onto you!
My love, follow me and love me
I will forever give you my blood as a promise that
We will be together forever!
Yes, come closer.
